Scoop the Coop – Backyard Hens, more than pets that give you breakfast

Gwenne Baile, Chair of Camden County Chickens, and her therapy hen, Rosebud, discussing the benefits of having backyard hens for composting, sustainability, gardening and permaculture entitled “Scoop the Coop—Backyard Hens, More than Pets that Give You Breakfast”.  Learn how hens help with insect control and provide fertilizer for the garden while decreasing food waste, and why towns all over South Jersey are modifying old ordinances and allowing hens.
