Sustainable Jersey hub for Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties
On November 17 at 7pm Jennifer Bulava, Burlington County Park Naturalist will be sharing her knowledge on Bees. Pollinators are crucial to the proper functioning of the natural world and our agricultural system. This important presentation will discuss the plight of insect pollinators, with a special focus on honey bees, detailing their serious decline known as colony collapse disorder, and what it means for our food supply, economy, and environment. Find out what you can do to help and what commonly used pesticides are toxic to bees and other beneficial insects.
