Sustainable Jersey hub for Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties
The goal of the Gloucester County Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Subcommittee is to organize key representatives from the county’s healthcare, social service, public health and community based organizations/programs to develop a plan of action to address Gloucester County’s low blood lead screening rates. The Gloucester County CLEP Subcommittee is an outgrowth of South Jersey’s regional lead coalition that is working to increase pediatric blood lead testing rates in Gloucester County.
The subcommittee is extending an invitation to Green Teams from Gloucester County to participate. In addition to working to increase blood lead testing rates, Green Teams that participate can receive points towards completing the Sustainable Jersey action: Lead Education and Outreach Program.
The next subcommittee meeting is Tuesday, January 19th at 3:30pm via Zoom.
