MLK Day of Service

Community Gardens in North Camden will be collaborating with NJ Tree Foundation, Mastery High School, and The Office of Civic Engagement at Camden Rutgers for a day of service on Martin Luther King Day. Youth gardeners and other volunteers will be learning about winter tree and storm drainage care.

They will also be trimming trees, clearing gutters along the Camden Greenways Trails. The following gardens will also receive needed winter cleanup: Rock Garden @ 3rd & Erie, Esperanza Garden at 6th and Grant, Garden @ 3rd and Erie, and  Cooper Grant Garden.
