Sustainable Jersey hub for Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties
Saturday, April 27, 2019
7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Discover this hidden treasure in the Delaware River! With access granted only a few times a year, this urban oasis offers a great variety of wading, shore and woodland birds in addition to views of Bald Eagles. We will be looking for spring arrivals using the Delaware River to navigate and Petty’s Island to rest and nest. In addition, we will meet up with Gloucester County Amateur Radio club and make connections between their radio transmissions and bird migration patterns! Children MUST be 12 and older to participate. Registration is REQUIRED for this event; space is limited. Register here. Directions and other details are given upon registration. No phone or email registrations accepted. Email Kelly Wenzel with any question at [email protected].
