SUMMARY:Plants for Sensory Stimulation (Fragrance\, Touch and Sound)
DESCRIPTION:Horticultural Society of South Jersey presents Bruce Crawford\, Director of Rutgers Gardens.  Typically\, we only focus on the sense of sight when designing a garden. However\, in order to make a garden as “complete” of an experience as possible\, elements that stimulate the remaining four senses need to be incorporated. Plants for Sensory Stimulation looks at a number of those plants that impact the senses beyond sight and how best they can be incorporated into the garden!  Free and open to the public. SUMMARY:"Dark Money" Movie Screening
DESCRIPTION:Tri-County (Burlington\, Camden\, Gloucester) American Promise Association is hosting a free showing of the 2018 film DARK MONEY.  The 2018 midterms were the most expensive in history with $5.2 billion of political spending! If you want to learn more about this assault on our democracy\, join us for a free screening of the documentary by Kimberly Reed released in theaters this summer. The story of dark money from corporate interests invading Montana politics after Citizens United is told along with the revealing investigation of the source and efforts toward solution. \nSaturday\, December 15th\, 2018 at 1 PM \nTri-County American Promise will give a short introduction to the scope of the problem of dark money before the film and there will be a Q & A afterwards.
