Access to the island is limited\, so don’t miss this opportunity to see the island and help in its transformation. We will be doing a cleanup of the shoreline where marine debris threatens the health of wildlife and humans. We will also be blazing a trail for use by schools and other visiting groups. This important presentation will discuss the plight of insect pollinators\, with a special focus on honey bees\, detailing their serious decline known as colony collapse disorder\, and what it means for our food supply\, economy\, and environment.
