DESCRIPTION:Join AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassador Alissa Ambacher to learn about biological stream monitoring!  During this fun workshop\, you will learn about the importance of watershed health as well as how to monitor the water quality of local streams. There will be an indoor\, informational portion at the Westville Community Center\, as well as an outdoor field experience session in a tributary of Big Timber Creek. \nPlease come dressed for the weather and the outdoors\, and ready to learn!  If you have waders or waterproof boots\, it is recommended that you bring them.  Participants will need to drive to the stream segment on the day of the event (approximately a half mile from the Center).\nMorning refreshments will be served.   Please BYO coffee cup/ mug. \nCall  Joyce Lovell at   856-456-2308 to register.
